Perfectly sized for my hand, with a generous thumb hole. The sheath is adaptable, so I changed the orientation to suit my needs. Sheath retention is pretty firm, so the blade won't fall out. It arrives very sharp, and completely met my expectations.

Handle is to cramp. I have med size hands and I will adjust on grinder to get a better fit. The sheath is bulky so I took off the belt attachment. And to tight to retrieve easily. I like the concept and design just needs some refinement. Sounds like a lot of criticism but y’all have great products and will be coming back for more.

Unfortunately, The knife is too small for my hand. Because of this, wielding the knife results in hotspots. I am by far not a large individual and despite the description saying to avoid it having gorilla hands it is still too small. Also another main issue is significant rattle when inside the sheath. I do respect the construction of the knife itself. The MDV is the night that caught my attention for the company. I do plan on purchasing that knife sometime in the future

As a former Marine I love a good knife,and as a retired Heat Treater I know good steel. My karimbit 440 C is perfect in design and material. My MDV in D2 is the best small knife design I’ve ever seen. Pure genius.

I like it except for two small things:
1) the finger grooves are nice,but the pinky finger end could be just a little further out..if I make a fist vs a partial fencers grip the pinky finger end is crowded both in the reverse/outboard and point forward orientation (I tend towards reverse grip with kerambit work). I can adjust, but I don't have enormous hands,so if I find it crowded, much bigger people will definitely notice
2)the lack of scales,either as an optional separate purchase or included with the knife...yes,many people like wrapping it in 550 cord,but it could be improved with scales..they wouldn't have to be excessively bulky and would probably improve the grip issue I mentioned in the first point.
Otherwise, I like it- good blade grind/geometry, can be effective in both forward and reverse grip;and the scabbard gives you carry/attachment options.
...maybe a slightly larger version in the future? Grip could be between .20 and .25 of an inch longer,with blade correspondingly lengthened as well;keep the width the same and consider those scales I mentioned

Great knife like always. The sheath needed adjustments. I had to cut/sand a place for my pinky and the retention was so tight a had to sand the inside down. There was no way I would have bin able to wear it in. The only complaint I ever have with skallwag is the sheaths. If it can't properly be carried and extracted it's of no use.

Love the knife, might end up switching out the belt clip. Handle is a smidge tight, could use about a 1/4” but it’s still useable for me so not a huge deal.

Nice knife. The belt clip provided with it is somewhat bulky. Replacing it with an UltiClip Slim 3.3 makes it much thinner.

Everything I expected
Without doubt this was one of the finest knives I’ve ever purchased. Everything from the box it shipped in to the knife itself was up there with the highest quality. Out of the box the knife is razor sharp. I will say the knife is very small. I knew it was a gamble when I bought the knife, it seems I have gorilla hands, so sadly it is been relegated to display only.

Best little blade in my arsenal
I found out about Skallywag Tactical, oh, a couple years ago. At first I gave them Hell about the prices and how could these knives possibly be worth that much money. The skipper, God love him, simply told me that the knives were made of top quality materials by first rate craftsman and if didn’t like the prices I was welcome to shop elsewhere. Naturally, at first I was kinda pissed at his attitude. I still followed them on FB anyway. Finally, they had a scratch n’ dent sale so I picked up a Deep Six. I figured what the Hell. I love this blade. I can do everything with it and I do everything with it. It’s my edc blade. It cuts boxes, twine, cord, twigs, my thumb and the throats of my enemies. I’ve even learned to throw it short distances. Pretty good at it if I say so myself. This little knife made a believer out of me. I now own a few Skallywags and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.

The terror that slices in the night
I bought the Deep 6 as a karambit lover. I always wanted to be a ninja ever since I was a child. That's what made me a karambit lover.
Upon arrival in a beautiful black box I felt an unusual aura, but paid no attention. I got the box inside the house and used one of "the other" karambuts to open it. After breaking the 5 other karambits I had decided to use my teeth. I heard a voice say "arrrrrgh matey" but I again paid no attention. When I finally opened the box I heard trumpets and angelic voices singing and saw a translucid light emitting from the box. As my vision cleared I gazed upon a gift from the gods. When I placed the blade in my hand I instantly started to speak fluent Japanese and wanted some rice. I moved to walk to my rice cooker (in which I didnt know I had) instead of walking I did 4 aerial somersaults and landed in a chair with a rice bowl and ramen in front of me on a table in which I'm now sitting. I looked around and there were 3 geishas bowing as I ate. Now I'm living a life I never thought was possible!
For that I'm giving the Deep 6 Karambit 5 stars! Where else could you change your life at such an incredible price!? What will your Deep 6 do to your life!?
